Saving Strokes Chipping Around the Green

The following procedure is a method of chipping around the
green that will produce consistent results without a lot of
practice. From a few feet to 10 to fifteen feet off the
green is when I use this method. Set up in your stance with
feet a lttle closer together than normal with the ball just
off your right foot big toe. Use different clubs for
different lenght chips - 9 iron for shorter distance to the
hole and 7 iron or even 6 iron for longer distances to the
hole. Set the club behind the ball and rock your shoulders
to control the distance the ball travels - your hands
should be well ahead of the ball angled forward. This
method will get the ball rolling on the green with
consistent results without a lot of practice. This method
probably saves me 3-4 strokes per round and requires
minimal practice. Go to a range that has a practice
chipping green and try using this method with different
clubs from just off the green and write down which club
travels how far on the green - then try it on the golf
