CUSTOM MADE GOLF CLUBS
Custom built golf clubs can really help amateurs lower their scores. If your golf clubs lie angle is too upright for your swing it will cause you to go left of your target all of the time. Likewise if your lie angle on your irons is too flat - it will cause your ball to fly to the right of the target. That's where dynamic club fitting comes in. Your iron lie angle is determined while hitting golf balls of a lie board. The bottom of the club is covered with tape marked with a center point lined up to the center of the clubface score lines. After hitting a golf ball off the lie board if the mark on the tape is 1/4" torwards the toe of the club then the club is about one degree too upright and would need to be bent one degree flat. Conversly, if the mark on the tape is torwards the hosel 1/4" then the club needs to be bent 1 degree upright for the ball to travel straight to the target.
